Megan is a strategic thinker and problem solver with more than 25 years’ experience in industrial and operating businesses across Australia in resources, automotive, energy and rail, with almost 10 years at an executive level. Originally from a rural background Megan’s career has seen her work in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne with regular engagement with regional Australia, particularly the NSW’s Hunter Valley and Western Australia’s Pilbara, Mid-West, Goldfields and South West regions.
With previous executive roles at Western Australia’s freight railway manager, Arc Infrastructure, and at the Pacific Arm of French multinational Dalkia, Megan has led portfolios in Operational and People Safety, Environment, Corporate Affairs, Human Resources and Training.
In addition to her corporate work Megan is an active supporter of workplace diversity and is the Chair of the National Association of Women in Operations (NAWO) – Australia’s peak body with a vision that men and women can be equally represented and valued at every level in operational businesses. Megan is also a mentor with NAWO, Women in Mining WA, and has informal mentoring relationships with a number of university students and mid-career professionals and is a regular conference and panel speaker on a range of topics.
