Melanie Kelsall is the People Manager for Virgin Australia Regional Airlines with over 20 years HR Management experience. Melanie commenced her HR career in the graduate program at J Sainsbury Supermarket in the United Kingdom, and worked her way up to become a HR Manager, specialising in change management projects. After 8 years with J Sainsbury, Melanie moved to the Non for Profit sector as HR Manager for Connexions, a career and youth service in the UK. Melanie also worked as a HR Consultant supporting Liverpool Hope University with their accredited CIPD qualification program. In 2010, Melanie moved to Australia taking on the role of Executive HR Manager with Avivo, a large Non for Profit organisation that supports people with disability, aged care and mental health issues. Melanie is a Fellow of the Australian HR Institute as well as a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (UK). Melanie joined Virgin Australia in January 2018.
Melanie has significant experience in recruitment, leadership development, organisational change, change management, performance management, and workplace relations.
